One of the major responsibilities of the Board of Education is to adopt and enforce all policies for the management and government of the public schools. The Board adopts policies necessary to provide general direction/guidance on a specific topic for the District and to encourage achievement of District goals. From these polices, the Superintendent develops plans, programs, and procedures needed for implementation and then directs the District's day-to-day operations of the board policy. The policy manual is divided in to eight sections.
