Kindergarten Orientation 2026-2027
We are excited to welcome you to Kindergarten Orientation. All incoming children who are age 5 on or before September 1, 2026 will be eligible to enroll for kindergarten.
What to bring with you?
Child’s birth certificate and items for residency check (see list on back)
Where to meet?
All Elementary Buildings (CA Henning, Marine, St. Jacob, and Silver Creek). Please enroll at the building where your student will attend.
Kindergarten Screenings
In addition to enrollment, incoming kindergarten students are required to be screened for placement. Sign ups for the screening process will be available at CA Henning and Silver Creek.
Marine and St. Jacob screenings will take place during the kindergarten registration on April 9.
Screening Dates
· CA Henning: May 11 & 13
· Silver Creek: May 12 & 14
· St. Jacob and Marine will be during evening registration on April 9.
Proof of Residency requires FOUR total documents:
Category I (One Document Required With Current Address)
Mortgage Papers (Homeowners)
Current Lease (with last month receipt)
Property Tax Statement
Letter from Mobile Home Park Manager
Letter of Residence from Landlord
Category II (Three Documents Required With Current Address)
Driver's License
Vehicle Registration
Current Voter Registration with issue date
Most Recent Gas, Electric, or Water Bill
Most Recent Cable, Internet, or Landline Phone Bill
Home/Rental Insurance Policy with receipt
Current MAJOR Credit Card Bill (Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover)
Required Forms To Fill Out and Turn In At Orientation
*Medical/immunization documentation must also be turned in prior to September 15, 2026
