
Triad CUSD #2 is hosting a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic tomorrow August 18th, 3:30-7:30 PM at Triad High School. The Pfizer vaccine will be given. 12 and older are eligible with a parent/guardian in attendance with the minor. Appointments are preferred, walk-ins welcome.


Triad will be holding a substitute training on August 31. The training is open to first-time Triad substitutes with an IL Professional Educator License, substitute license, or individuals seeking a short-term substitute license. To obtain a short-term substitute license, you must have an associate's degree or have completed at least 60 hours of credit from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
All substitutes with a short-term license employed by the Triad district must attend training before they are able to accept substitute jobs. The training will cover the following topics: curriculum, classroom management, school safety, district/building operations, technology, and time to review the application process for substitutes.
The next training will be held Tuesday, August 31 at Triad’s Central office: 203 E. Throp St. Troy, IL 62294 from 8:30 – 12:00. Each participant will receive a half-day substitute pay for attending the training after being hired by the Board of Education and substituting at least one day for the Triad school district. As we anticipate our first day tomorrow, students don't forget to bring your water bottle as water fountains will only be available to fill water bottles and it's going to be a hot one tomorrow! We'll see you in the morning!


Following Governor Pritzker’s announcement yesterday, effective immediately and until further notice, all students and staff PreK-12 in Triad Community Unit School District #2 will be required to wear face coverings/masks while indoors at school.
Triad’s Return to Learn Plan will be updated on Monday, August 9th to reflect the new mask mandate. We appreciate your patience as we plan for students’ return on August 12th.


The Board of Education meeting for Monday, July 26, 2021 has been moved to Silver Creek Elementary's cafeteria. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM.

We're excited to announce another COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at THS on July 28th from 3:30-7:30 PM. Pfizer Vaccine. 12 years and older are eligible with a parent or legal guardian. First & Second doses will be given. A second clinic is scheduled for August 18th.


On Friday, the CDC released updated guidance regarding the upcoming school year. In this guidance, it was clearly stated that vaccinated students and staff members will be allowed to be unmasked while indoors at school. We would like to encourage all who are eligible for the COVID vaccine to schedule an appointment. COVID vaccines are offered through the Madison County Health Department (https://arcg.is/bqrfO0) as well as many local pharmacies and some doctors' offices.
Additional guidance is forthcoming regarding district protocols and procedures for unvaccinated students.
