Thank you to senior representative Kylie Toth and Student Council for presenting their October report to the Triad Board of Education this evening.

Triad hosted a Debate competition on Saturday.

Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate:

Mr. Gagich's Technology Education students had a great experience attending the Construction Expo at the Belle Claire Fairgrounds.

The Math Team competed again in the Southwestern Illinois Math League at SWIC. For the second competition in a row, 10 of the 12 Triad competitors brought home ribbons or medals! Earning hardware for the Knights were Devin Link, Callum Rose, Lilea Zurliene, Aston Blevins, Elliana Eichenseer, Luke Ulrich, Chase Gregory, Katie Hellrung, Noah Bonner, and Daniel Montano. We are so proud and happy with your performance this year!

Red Ribbon Week kicks off Monday of next week!

Check out the themed dress-up days. There will be prizes for those days and for the scavenger hunt. Red Ribbon Week is a nationally observed week that promotes awareness of and protection against the dangers of drugs, alcohol, vaping, and bullying. At Triad, we do our part to uphold these values and help everyone make better choices. Thank you to our ALPHA Club for promoting the awareness week!

No School: October 23-24

Reminder: There will be no school for students on Thursday, October 23rd and Friday, October 24th for parent/teacher conferences.

We look forward to meeting with families to discuss student progress. If you haven't scheduled your conference yet, please contact your child's teacher.

Classes will resume on Monday, October 27th.

THS students, we have several colleges visiting tomorrow and throughout the rest of October. If you would like to visit with any of them, please stop by the Student Services office for more information.

Triad is hosting the IHSA flag football playoff game between Edwardsville and Mascoutah.

This is a reminder that tomorrow, October 10th, will be a School Improvement Day for the Triad district. Elementary students will be released at 11:50 AM, middle school students at 10:30 AM, and high school students at 10:45 AM.

The Math Team did great competing at SWIC in the Southwestern Conference Math League! Ten students came away with awards in one of the best performances we have ever had! Those students were Greyson Hoyt, Riam Young, Jennifer Bergmann, Maddy Schram, Cooper Govreau, Addison Bierman, Chase Gregory, Katie Hellrung, Noah Bonner, and Marek Alford. We are super proud!
